Sierra Winter Jewelry

After a three week break, Kansas City Confidential is back with a new episode featuring local jeweler, Sierra Otto. Sierra is the owner and designer of Sierra Winter Jewelry. In this episode, Sierra talks about what inspires her and why she loves Opal so much. She even named her daughter Opal because of her love of the unique stone. Sierra's jewelry has a variety of both dainty and chunky pieces. Each piece is designed to be worn and layer together. Her jewelry can be found in their store located on Gregory and Oak or in other local retailers around Kansas City.

Midwest Cookie Co

On this week's episode of Kansas City Confidential, Nicole Grey from Midwest Cookie Co joins Sari to discuss her cookie business. Nicole has been in this industry for a number of years and ran into unpredictable hurdles when the pandemic hit. On an average week, she is turning out anywhere between 30-60 dozen cookies at a time. She owns hundreds of cookie cutters to make ever customer order of sugar cookies just right! On top of taking custom cookie orders, she has a booth inside Painted Tree, located in Overland Park. Front Range Coffeehouse

On this week's What's The Tea, KC? Sari talks about her recently visit to the new location of Front Range Coffeehouse in Kansas City. This is the second location of this location coffee joint. Front Range is part of the Made in KC family and serves the same delicious coffee and pastries. What makes Front Range different? They offer a fully stocked bar as well. The bar is not open yet in the Kansas City location as of when this episode comes out, but should be up and running soon. Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

On this episode of Kansas City Confidential, Sari introduces her bi-weekly segment called What's the Tea, KC? Through this segment, Sari shares with listeners the new businesses or experiences she's had around Kansas City over the last couple of weeks. For the first "What's the Tea, KC?", Sari discusses her first ever visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum on 18th and vine. Listen as Sari shares just some of the things she took away from her visit. 
Also, for the month of February, the celebrate #Blackhistorymonth admission to the museum is free thanks to the Kansas City Royals and Royals charities.
